How it works
I take over running your existing site, whoever built it. First I review what is broken or out of date and report back to you. Then the agreement runs monthly. You can cancel any time, and you take everything with you if you do.
Common questions
What does website maintenance cost?
From €49 a month for a smaller presentation site. The price rises with how big the site is and how much needs doing each month - a shop with orders and customer accounts costs more than a five-page site. You get a fixed monthly cost once I have seen the site. All prices are shown at 0% VAT.
Do I have to have a maintenance agreement?
No. You can look after the site yourself, and I show you how at handover. The agreement exists for people who would rather spend their time on their own business than on updates.
What happens if the site gets hacked?
With daily backups I restore the site to how it looked before. Then we find the hole and close it. Without backups it is considerably harder and more expensive, which is why backups are included from the first month.
Can you take over a site someone else built?
Yes, that is common. I start with a review of what is out of date or broken and report back to you before anything is decided.
How quickly do I get help if something breaks?
You email or call me directly, with no support queue in between. I answer the same day, and urgent faults like the site being down go ahead of everything else.
Is there a minimum contract period?
None. The agreement runs monthly and can be cancelled at any time. You take everything with you if you choose to stop.
