How it works
This kind of work always starts with me seeing how you do things today, often on site. What looks like one small problem sometimes turns out to be three, and the other way round. After that review you get a fixed price for what is actually worth building.
I have published my own games on Google Play, but not yet a mobile app for a company. Web apps I have built several of - TTL Parts is one of them.
Common questions
What is the difference between a web app and a mobile app?
A web app runs in the browser and does not need downloading. A mobile app is installed from the App Store or Google Play. For most companies a web app solves the problem more cheaply, since it works on every device straight away and needs no store approval.
What does a web app cost?
More than an ordinary website, because it is functionality rather than just pages. The price follows how many rules the system has to handle: customer types, price tiers, calculations and connections to other systems. I want to see how you work today before quoting. All prices are shown at 0% VAT.
Can a web app be installed on a phone?
Yes. It can be built as a PWA, which means it is added to the home screen and opens like an app, without going through an app store.
Can you connect the site to our business system?
Often yes, if the system has an API or can export data. That is exactly what stops the same details being entered twice.
Can different customers see different prices?
Yes, that is one of the most common requests. Prices can be hidden until a customer logs in, and each customer or group can have its own discount tier. TTL Parts works exactly that way.
